There's Luxury To Fit Every Pocketbook With Mammoth Lakes Vacation Rentals

By Sharon Richardson

If you love to ski, hike, or fish in the California mountains, you are probably already familiar with Mammoth Lakes. You can find it hidden deep in the Sierra Nevada range. It has one of the longest skiing seasons in the country and is a great place to practice your trout fishing. Visitors to this part of the state have their choice of a number of luxury Mammoth Lakes vacation rentals, no matter what their budget is.

Some of the properties are larger than the others. If you are traveling alone or with one or two others, you could rent a one bedroom condominium that will accommodate four. For less than a hundred dollars a night, you can stay in a beautifully furnished condo on the shuttle route to the mountain. The complex offers saunas and spas in the winter and pools, tennis courts, and barbecues in the summer.

When you are willing to pay a little more, you could get a completely remodeled unit with a fully equipped kitchen just yards from downtown. The sofa sleeper is huge and great for sleeping or pulling out and enjoying the large screen television. If you don't feel like cooking, there are plenty of excellent restaurants just an easy walk away.

You might walk to the lodge from some of the stunning accommodations that are affordable even during the height of ski season. Four guests will have plenty of room in these spacious condos that offer use of the athletic club facilities and welcome pets for an additional fee. Splitting the cost between friends makes these luxurious accommodations even more attractive.

For those looking for a two bedroom accommodation in the middle of the activity, there are rentals with floor to ceiling windows, two full baths and a guest bath, massive recreation space, and fully equipped kitchens. You won't need transportation. You can walk everywhere, including to the lodge.

There are plenty of roomy two story town homes that will make you feel like you are vacationing in the alps. Many have open two story living areas with paneled walls, huge fireplaces, and rustic alpine decor. Laundry rooms are included in many and wireless internet is standard in all.

Luxurious townhouses may cost a little more, but they are worth it for the magnificent views you can enjoy upstairs and down. Two master bedrooms with private baths are perfect for couples sharing vacation space. The ceilings are vaulted with plenty of natural light every month of the year. The televisions are huge, flat, and a great way to watch your favorite shows. Garages are enclosed.

You probably won't go to Mammoth Lakes for the rental accommodations, but it is good to know that once the day is done, you will have a beautiful place to come home to. You will enjoy the outdoors all day, winter and summer. During the evening, there is fine dining and great entertainment. After that, you can slip into your cozy retreat to rest and relax.
