In the heart of the US Virgin Islands or the USVI, lies a small island that is said to be the prettiest and most enjoyable place in the entire Virgin Islands. It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Virgin Islands. If one would want to go on vacation to this wonderful place, then here is a st john usvi travel guide to help navigate the area.

Now before knowing about the sights and tourist attractions, one first has to know about the history and culture of the place in order to fully appreciate the place. Now one thing to remember is that it was inhabited by several natives starting with the Arawaks then the Caribs and finally the Danish. Also, Cruz Bay is known to be the biggest community there.

Another thing to know is how the people in the island act so that one will know how to blend in with them. The locals pay very close attention to how people greet each other so it is very important to use phrases like good morning or good afternoon during the designated and appropriate time. The locals may actually seem quite unfriendly at first, but if one knows how to blend in along with them, then it is no problem.

Now to give an idea of the things do here, first of all, he can visit the National Park of the Virgin Islands as well as the Coral Reef Monument. Now in the National Park, it is possible for one to see a lot of beautiful greenery. Of course it is also possible to see a lot of wildlife and a lot of animals near the forest areas. Now the Coral Reef Monument is also another great place to visit because of the beautiful sight.

If one would want to stay in a luxurious beach resort, then Caneel Bay is the place to be. This is one of the most luxurious places to stay in the whole island and often has events. In fact, it is the place where a lot of weddings and many corporate parties are held.

Now for those who would enjoy roughing it up, then they may actually stay in the Cinnamon Campground. This is a site for campers to commune with nature. There are a lot of cabins and tent sites that can be found in this area.

Some things that one can do while he is there is snorkeling and boating. One can explore the island with a rented power boat and go around. There are also various hiking trails that one can go on so that he can explore the area.

So as one can see, there are so many sights to see here and so many activities to do here as well. At least with a small guide, one will be able to map out some activities that he knows he will enjoy when he pays a visit. Also, he will know how to interact with the natives because some of the natives are quite unfriendly so it is important to know how to communicate with them.
