Organize Your Corporate Events Dahlonega GA

By Susan Wagner

Companies who wish to bring cohesion to their work force know the power of corporate vacations. All too often these trips involve too much alcohol on a beach in the summer. Rather than creating epic tales of misbehavior, perhaps corporate events Dahlonega GA will provide a more respectable experience for everyone involved.

Located in the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, this sleepy little town has some excellent tourist attractions, some of which you might not expect. Within this repertoire are three well-known wineries where coworkers can drink together in a mature, sophisticated environment. Wine tastings are held regularly, boasting not only fine wine but some fine dining as well.

Even though the Fall is the most popular time of year to visit this part of the country, it does not mean there can be no fun with sun and water. Inter-tubing is a local sport that most every Georgia native has experienced. It can mean a gentle ride on the river, or they can go for a more intense experience on some of the most exciting white water adventures around.

Group rafting trips are also on the menu. This area has river adventures to suit anyone at most any level of skill and daring. Taking the whole crew down some of the rough-water zones is an excellent want to bring everyone together as they face the peril of nature and must count on one-another to get safely to the docking zone.

Every office has a few hardcore adrenaline junkies who just might be in the market for a skydiving or hang-gliding experience. It is never acceptable to force anyone to undergo such a risky adventure. However, sometimes watching coworkers overcome such a challenge is all the encouragement one needs to brave the danger for themselves, which means they also reap the reward.

Some employees might not be jumpers, and that is all right too. This town offers some of the longest and most beautiful balloon rides in the country. For those who fear heights, a gentle ride through the afternoon sky aloft with their supportive peers and bosses can be an excellent team-building activity that might also help with those who suffer acrophobia.

For those paying attention on the balloon ride, they will get a rare and wonderful view of Amicalola Falls. For those who are hiking enthusiasts, Amicalola should already be a well-known Native American name. Whether one rides to the top or climbs up the hundreds of stairs, this wonder of the natural world can be taken in by everyone at their own speed.

Nearby one will find the Len Foote Hike Inn. This is the first, or the last depending on what direction is taken, hiking hotel on the Appalachian trail. There are also two possible routes that one might choose if they wish to brave the famous Springer Trail and spend a night under the stars, sipping some Southern wine while learning more about the people they share office space with.
