Bus Service Vero Beach: Enjoy The Commute

By Susan Price

Living in a beach town can get tedious especially during tourist season. There are so many people in town that getting parking is a nightmare not to mention the traffic. Thus a need to consider the bus service Vero Beach. There might be very viable reasons to pick the alternative but the strong for this form of transportation is strong. First and foremost, it is a major time save.

There is a bit of money to be paid to board the shuttle. This amount does not compare to the costs of the alternatives. A rental car for example will attract both rental fees and fuel. A taxi will cost less than that but it will still be steep compared to the public transportation. That money could go towards a cold treat to cool down in the hot Florida sun.

It is human nature to savor finding kindred spirits. The shuttle allows one to get a feel of the people in the town. Their hospitality is incredibly heartwarming. One will find themselves roped into interestingly wild chats on the drive with a total stranger. The people are also very generous with tucked away gems for people who are seeking an out of the box experience. Those are never advertised on public domain.

The global populace is under threat of global warming. This is a dark cloud looming over the world threatening to burst into a torrent of toxic rains soon. Taking the shuttle is a way of taking one more car off the road. If it is full, around 50 cars are off the road. This is a significant reduction in air pollution and the carbon footprint. It is not a Tesla for every citizen but it a worthy step in the right direction.

The point of being on vacation is to take time to appreciate the surroundings. Notice beauty in the natural surroundings. Something one might not have a lot of time for while they are struggling to make it to work and meetings on time. Give up the driver seat and take in the scenery. Appreciate it. Savor it. Enjoy it.

Speaking of which, the drivers at these transit companies are subjected to a bit more training than the regular driver. They can handle an errant driver better. It is therefore safer to let an experienced and well-trained driver ferry around. The shuttles are also better maintained and more frequently than the rental cars.

In a flurry of activity and confusion, one can easily take a wrong turn and end u in a bad part of town. Even if they have been on that road dozens of times. The shuttle is a good option when one is not feeling right. When they feel like they need a break from having to remember things like directions.

If it is expected that there will be traffic, a public transportation company will be in a better position to know and map out alternative routes. An individual would find out after already being stuck in traffic for an hour. This is therefore more reliable.
