Find The Best Deerfield Beach Oceanfront Condos For Rent

By Joanna Walsh

When going on holiday the most important thing that many will think of is what kind of accommodation will be available as well as how far away from the beach it will be. Many of the Deerfield Beach oceanfront condos for rent are only a few steps away from clean and inviting waters of the ocean. Many of them are able to sleep up to eight and are in close proximity of tennis and golf courses.

The history can be dated back to the eighteen nineties with a small settlement by the name of Hillsborough. Eight years later the population grew to about twenty and had its own little post office. The name was changed to Deerfield as there were always herds of deer grazing along the edges of the Hillsboro River.

The early settlers were mostly farmers who produced green beans, squash, pineapples as well as tomatoes. Fishing was also very popular. In the late nineteen thirties the name was again changed and beach was added so that tourists would become aware that this place actually had a beach. From then on the popularity as a tourist destination has steady increased.

The Arboretum was founded in 1995 by a city forester and there were only about twenty two different palms and trees. It has since grown to include tropical fruit trees, bamboos and canopy trees as well. In the last few years their collections has grown even more and now include a spice and herb garden, a butterfly garden, orchid displays and a garden especially for the little visitors.

It is maintained solely by the Friends of the Deerfield Beach Arboretum and every first Saturday of each month a workday is held. It lasts for about three hours and a free lunch is served. Tours are also offered and a horticultural presentation is held free of charge. Entrance is for free and there are exercise stations around a paved trail of half a mile in distance.

The Butterfly World was opened in 1988 and is the biggest in the world as well as being the first in the Western Hemisphere. There are about five thousand different species and visitors must expect to spend at least a few hours seeing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat. There are many different ponds as well as fountains and there are many display cases that have pupas and butterflies emerging from them. There is also a laboratory where one is able to see how these butterflies are raised as well as the different stages that they go through.

Another place that is literally right on the beach is an apartment that was renovated and now has a new kitchen and bathroom. A minimum stay of one month is required at a price of $2.368 for the full time. It sleeps two and comes with a dryer and washing machine. There is also an outdoor area that is fully covered where one can sit back and relax.

There is always plenty to do during the day which will ensure that no one in the family will get bored. The CB Smith Park is also known as Paradise Cove and is over two hundred and ninety nine acres. There are many different activities that can be tried such as miniature golf, tennis as well as basketball and do not even forget the fishing.
