The Six Best Pangasinan Tourist Spots

By Frances Allen

When one thinks of the Philippines he or she would usually think of Boracay, Palawan, or maybe some of the other more popular places to visit. However, Pangasinan is another province that shows a lot of promise because of the many Pangasinan tourist spots to visit. For those who want to pay a visit to this place, do not miss these spots.

First up would be the Hundred Islands destination which can be found in the Lingayen Gulf. There are literally a hundred islands in this place that can be visited. Each island has its own beautiful scenery and its own set of activities that one can try out including diving, boating, and kayaking.

While most tourists would hail Boracay as the best beach to go to when in Philippines, Patar Beach actually comes somewhere close to it. Patar Beach is very beautiful and not as crowded as the more famous Boracay. This makes it more appealing to those who hate crowds and to those who want to see more marine life in the area.

The Sky Plaza is another place that one should not miss when going to this province. To give one an idea, the Sky Plaza is a public park that oversees a lot of the other towns in the area such as the town of Natividad. It is also a haven for history enthusiasts because it is the home to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue, one of the oldest Christian pilgrimage statues in the area.

For those who love flowers and some adventure, the sunflower maze is one of the most favorite places to visit for flower enthusiasts. It is literally a maze with sunflowers all around the area designed to give the visitors a refreshing experience. It also has a farm where the tourists can pick some of the crops to try out during the harvest season of the farmers.

For those who love extreme sports and a little more exciting activity, then the place to go would be Balungao Hilltop Adventure Resort. One will start off by riding the famous zip line and get a gander at the terrain as well as the scenery from a high point of view. From there, he or she can try out other cool activities like bungee jumping, trail walking, hiking, and trampoline.

If one has always wanted to visit a magical and fantasy land, probably the Enchanted cave would be the closest thing that one will be able to get. The Enchanted cave is probably the most beautiful cave in the region looking like a massive, magical coral. One can even swim around the cove if he or she likes.

If one is interested in a little fun and adventure, then hop on the next flight to Philippines and go to Pangasinan. This place is filled with a lot of very beautiful tourist attractions that one can pay a visit to during his or her stay in the country. While there are so many more to choose from, these six are some of the most popular ones that definitely have to visit should one wants to check out the place.
