Disney World Trip Planner Guide For First Time Visitors

By Karen Young

If you have young kids, Disney World is one of the ideal spots for you and your family to vacation in. There are lots of interesting things to keep the whole family amused. Once you have decided to take a vacation there, it is important that you plan well. Here is some Disney World trip planner advice to help you ensure that everything goes well.

Decide on the dates when you'd like to travel. Ideally, it should be at a time when school is out, so that your kids can enjoy themselves during the holiday. If your kids are a bit older, you can plan to travel when everyone can afford to take time off school and work. The best time to travel would be during off-peak seasons, as there aren't many visitors to the parks during such times.

Come up with a budget of how much you are going to spend during the entire tour. This includes any flight tickets and hotel stays and food. These are the big ticket items that will take up a huge chunk of your money. Remember also other small costs, such as the cost of buying any souvenirs that you would like to take home with you.

You can choose to reserve a hotel room in one of the parks or you can choose to get accommodation out of the parks. While it is cheaper to get accommodation outside the parks, there are several advantages to staying on site. For example, you can spend a bit more time in the parks by getting an early start or by staying later than other people who are coming from outside.

You will need a car to get around the parks in. It is not possible to walk around the whole area. So you can either bring your own car or you can rent a car once you get to your destination. So choose the option that will work best for you.

Consider going for a package deal. There are so many package deals that you can take advantage of, so as to save money. The package deals normally include accommodation, flights, airport transfers and food. Check to see if there is a package deal that you like. It will save you the hassle of having to organize each of these factors individually.

See if you can get a discount. There are so many discounts available to different groups of people. Do some research to find out if any of the organizations you are affiliated to give discounts to their members. This will help you save quite a bit of money.

Come up with an itinerary. Decide on the activities that you are going to do, based on the number of days of your vacation. It is not possible to do everything, so decide which activities are the most important ones for you. This will require that you first take time to do some research first and find out what interests you the most.
